The new Media Composer includes a refined 3D Warp tool, which lets you create advanced effects and transitions that include blends, dissolves, fades, and skew, rotate, and even set transparencies for creative effects and transitions. https://www.avid.com/mediacomposer
You’ve seen this effect a thousand times on news channels, Dateline, 20/20, the ID Channel and more. The effect of a blurred background and a clear foreground that is not full frame, easing in (zooming in, panning, etc…). This is an awesome way to use non-full frame video and/or images/pictures, while keeping the background interesting
In this video you will learn how to do a simple zoom-in, or ease-in with Media Composer. We will use 3DWarp and keyframes. I’m using Media Composer 8.6, but the process is the same for other versions of Media Composer.
